I haven't even set food in this store but I have to give them 5 stars for customer service! Yesterday I was out running errands and was looking for specific hearing protection. I used my phone and typed in "gun stores near me". I called a few shops and nobody had the item in stock and they all said that they didn't know when they would be getting any in. I was about to give up but decided to make one last call to Briarhawk. I'm happy I called this place. Art picked up the phone and put me on with his son Steve. Steve advised me that he didn't have any in stock and has an order going in on Monday. He took my name and number down and told me that he will call me when he gets the item in. HIs price is $30 less than the average cost of the item. Before you know it, I was on the phone with Steve for 20 minutes. I checked the timer on my phone. Steve was very friendly, courteous and treated me with respect. A lot of gun stores have these arrogant macho commando type guys strapped with their big ass gun and more ammo than the army stockpile on their belt. You walk in and unless you are flashing a lot of cash, they don't even give you the time of day. This store is closed Sunday and Monday. Because Steve was so nice, I plan on stopping in the store in about a week when he gets his order and I'll probably buy the hearing protection that I'm looking for. I've already spoken with my friend about this place and he plans on going in and purchasing some firearms here in about a month or so. Thanks for being a real neighborhood gun shop!
