Wife and I stayed there for an anniversary weekend. Hotel room was exceptional. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was great. Steak and seafood both top notch. Service was great. Hotel pool and sauna area was very nice and high end. Why only 4 stars?
It had no soul. It seems very generic in regards to decorating and style. Nothing says "bank-town" like this place. Very fine, very conservative. Why isn't there any artwork, sculptures in the common areas?
Additionally you certainly pay for the exceptional quality of room and dinner. Dinner was $230 for 2 with wine and tip. I did have the most expensive item the rib-eye @ $65....again geared towards the banker crowd with expense account.
