Fantastic English seaside venue! I was in Whitby last month for the Gothic Weekend and we purchased tickets to see live music inside the Whitby Pavillion Complex. The venue seemed very well planned out from the location to the space. This complex overlooks the ocean and cliffs of Whitby. It is not overbearing where it distracts from the natural seaside beauty of this gem of a town where Bram Stoker wrote 'Dracula'. The inside is simple and easy to navigate. It is a multi level complex and was perfect for the Whitby Gothic Festival. The inside is quite simple and in one way or another could be aesthetically updated but it got the job done. There is a snack bar with sandwiches, soft drinks, baked goods, crisps, etc and tables for seating. For what it was and what it needed to be used for, Whitby Pavillion Complex got the job done but my favorite part were the views of the sea. It was spectacular!
