I based seeing Dr. Yu on recommendations of a number of athletes he's assisted and his educational and medical background. He thoroughly examined my knee and after X-rays and an MRI diagnosed a meniscus tear. He gave me medical options, explaining the risks and benefits of each. Of the options presented, I decided surgery would probably provide the long-term results I desired. The scheduling of surgery went well, with staff members readily available to assist me in the process. The surgery went as discussed by Dr. Yu, with a positive outcome. The staff contacted me a number of times following the surgery regarding my recovery and general well being. The follow-up appointment with Dr. Yu included an examination and consultation regarding the the surgery and information pertinent to the healing process. Overall, my experience with Total Sports Medicine and Orthopedics staff members and Dr. Yu has been outstanding.
