Best ramen East of the strip. When youre on the West side, there are greats such as Monta, Sora, and Jinya. I've tried them all so I tried Fukumimi to explore east Vegas ramen. It was wednesday night and the place is full. Sign-in sheet available and only two chairs inside for waiting. Theres a counter section that seats about 6-8, and moveable tables for maybe another 20-30. The place is the size of any Monta so I wouldnt recommend huge groups here. I ordered the Tonkotsu Salt ($7.50) and when it came out, the presentation was great. Nice bowl, nice looking broth, and smelled yummy. But looking down into the bowl, I felt it was a little plain. But nonetheless, I dig in and it hit the spot. Again like my reviews for other ramen, I love the thin, straight noodles. However, the noodles in my bowl were clunky and all stuck together. This ruined it for me. It made me assume that they get their noodles from a refridgerated package and they attempt to boil it to loosen it up. I hope that it was just this one bowl. My next bowl here will still have the good flavor.
