I've been living at Hyde Park for almost a year now and will look forward to resigning an extended lease in the next month. I've been in a single bedroom here and have enjoyed the experience a great deal. The apartment is a comfortable size for me and my cat with plenty of storage and update appliances. I love the fact that AC is included in my rent and aside from that I have found my other utilities to all be very reasonable. Whenever I have had any issues or questions the leasing office was very quick to respond and maintenance always solved the problem in a timely manner. That being said I have no actually need to contact maintenance very often as I have experience next to no issues in my apartment. I elect to utilize a gym outside the complex so I can not speak to the fitness room and what it has to offer. The pool area is always clean and they recently replaced/updated the furniture around the pool areas which was great. There are not washers and dryers in the apartments so there are community laundry areas. These are kept clean and in working order, the machines themselves are relatively dated but the prices are reasonable and its nice to have laundry on the premises. Parking is first come first serve - there have only ever been 2 weekends nights that the lot has ever been full inside the gates while I've lived here. It is really nice to not have to pay extra to have the option of covered parking. The gate on the occasion will be out of commission but I think its to be expected given the amount of use they get. Overall I've definitely enjoyed my time here and will be looking forward to another year. The location can't be beat with ASU only 5 minutes down the street and Mill Ave about the same. Its a short drive up to Old Town in Scottsdale as well. All good places to go out - the complex is also very close to anything else you need. Tempe Marketplace has a Target, Restaurants, Old Navy, Roadrunner, and Harkins Theater, as well as grocery stores nearby and great proximity to the highways.
