I made a reservation at this hotel at the beginning of January for the Illinois Marathon at the end of April. My reservation was accepted and confirmed. I received a call today from the hotel manager letting me know that oops, they actually didn't have any rooms available. I made this reservation over two months ago and JUST got a call from them saying that they actually didn't have any space. He was out of the country on vacation for two months, and in that time nobody else caught that error? I am coming in from several hours away for this race, and now am in a terrible situation. Not a great feeling when you're about to run your first marathon. Completely unacceptable.
