There are a few issues I have had with Kohls over the last year that has irked me. Mostly poor customer service. This most recent one pushed me to the limit and I needed to write a review. I ordered a ring from the online store and received and email confirmation that I would get another email when the item was shipped so that I could track it. This was important as it was a gift for my wife and wanted to make sure she did not see it. Well no email was sent and I called to see what the delay was as the date was the last day of the estimated delivery date. The customer service person on the phone told me that it had not been shipped as they were very busy (holidays,which I understand) but would notify me when it did. Well the same day, while I was out, the package did arrive and my wife signed for it. Luckily she did not open it. However, when I open the box I was disappointed to see a ring that was not what I ordered or even what was on the packing slip. When I called their customer service number again I was told that they had run out of the item I ordered and that I could return the one I received to a Kohls store and see if I could find what I wanted at another establishment.
Because it seems like they will send you whatever they want (last time was a pair of shoes in the wrong size) if they are out of the item you ordered I will not EVER shop on the site or in a Kohls store again. This will disappoint my wife and she has been an avid shopper at the location near our home. I would not recommend shopping at Kohls. You lost a customer and Macy's has gained one!
