First time here, usually a cha time or coco's customer but the lineups were out the door tonight so we decided to give this place a try next door to cocos. First impression, very clean almost zen atmosphere, not nearly as busy as the other two businesses, one person staffed tonight. They seem to be famous for their crown cheese drinks but im generally not a fan...so went for a reg oolong fresh pearl milk tea. Pros: the tea is fresh pressed from loose leaf tea using a "teapresso", like an expresso machine but for tea. The tea result was very subtle and clean but not bitter. I enjoyed it. They have like 4 or 5 different teas you can have your drinks made from and you can actually smell the tea bags at the counter to sample it. Cons: menu is more limited compared to competitors, dont expect all your usual coconut, taro, green apple, mango etc etc flavours here. Its a more grown up menu imo. There isnt any size option either...its one size only. Topping choices are limited to red bean, tapioca and coconut jelly They ran out of tapioca today and didnt tell me till after:( i ended up with coconut jelly..it was okay but i prefer pearls!
