The service department at Showcase Honda, specifically Jerry McLeod and Sal Pignata, repeated lied to us concerning our oil consumption issue with our 2010 Honda CRV, notifying us that our oil usage was "normal". We were burning though 3 quarts of oil per 3000 miles.
Honda has since recently recalled the vehicle due to high oil consumption and repairs have been made under this warranty (by another dealership), validating our concerns. American Honda (national) has apologized but we have never heard from Showcase Honda regarding this.
This issue was both aggravating and costly for us. Hopefully management will take constructive steps to better educate these two employees to eliminate future occurrences.
