If you ever want to learn to ride, and I mean really RIDE, come here. Janice will teach you more valuable lessons on riding and horsemanship than you can find at any other barn in Arizona. She has school horses ranging from beginner to advanced, and each one has it's own personality and logic to teach you various intricacies of riding. She doesn't RUSH students who aren't ready, or who haven't put in the time and patience that comes with riding. Responsibility is so important, and students learn that when they are expected to take care of their own horses and tack. She actually CARES about teaching unlike many trainers who only care about money that will let you do anything you want as long as you pay them, until you get hurt. Janice brought me back from fractured vertebrae, when I was not confident and was afraid after I had been schooling training level eventing, and I can honestly say I'm a better rider than I ever was now 3 years later. If you want to go out and buy a $50000 horse that is perfect that you just need to sit up and look pretty on, without any actual riding ability, don't come here. This place is for people who want to MASTER the art. It doesn't happen overnight, but if you put in the work you can go as far as you'd like at Twin Acres. But please, leave the drama at home! We are far too focused on our ponies to listen to it. ;)
