For visitors that are not familiar with the old Vegas; LINQ took over the property of Imperial Palace. For the most part; the rennovations cover the old Hotel, but you do feel that the vibe still has a little of the old Vegas. The "old vegas feel" I liked about the LINQ was: - The Location ( great location!! If you like to walk around the strip; this is a great location-- keep in mind its the opposite side of Cosmo) - The small details of the brick walls by the elevators on the casino floor and the room floors. I love a little vintage in things and it was a great detail that they kept to keep a little character to the renovated Casino/ Hotel. The "old vegas feel" I DIDNT like about the LINQ was: - Finding the Valet & Parking Garage was a major mission. We utilized Apple Maps, Google Maps and Waze and the address will bring you to the front of the Casino ( which you will NOT find parking nor will you find a sign that will tell you where to go) We had to guess where the garage would be-- so FYI: its in the back of the hotel so be ready to take a few streets down prior to getting to the garage - Definitely for budgeting purposes I would ONLY assume they did NOT renovate the whole parking structure at ALL. It's confusing and outdated. Be sure to drive slow & follow directions. - Valet was SUPER slow getting there and coming back. Come back at around 2-3AM 2 nights in a roll Valet was CLOSED-- even for guest. Ridiculous Rooms were on the smaller side and pretty basic but it is comfortable enough to stay the night. The size of the standard room is similar to SLS ( which is another new casino that took over an old casino) Note: Pull out beds are NOT an option and for the standard room the beds are full size so no more than 2 people per bed. Otherwise, the hotel was decent; staff were nice and the hotel room cost was decent. Probably not my top choices to stay about but the cool Irish Bar connected to the LINQ was pretty darn cool.
