The thing people say about going early to get a table, I'm not sure what the definition of early is but I got there about 9p and there was plenty of space, no line up and some seats available. But when I left at about 1230a, there was a lineup out the door and no seats available.
The coolest thing about this place are the arcade games in the back. They are some really cool retro games that are awesome.
They got an extensive beer list with tons of stuff in the fridge. You can see their twitter account with the current day's beer menu, which also appear on their website with nothing else but the beer list and the address. Simple is good. I don't need to know anything else.
The waitress is quite attentive as someone else mentioned before, you just gotta make eye contact and they'll help you. The people are also quite cool, you know when you're at a bar and the people sitting at the bar are taking up tons of space and refuse to make space for you to order. This is not that place. The people are like, oh, i'm sorry, you need to get in there to get a drink.
The cask beer, the one I had was not good. It did not taste at all like what's described online how it should taste. I think there was something wrong. This should be a case by case basis but if anyone else feels this way, let me know!
The washrooms are quite dingy and they got posters of people shooting at me. Haha even the women's washroom which has a clear open door view from walking by. Anyone whose uncomfortable should beware.
With all said and done, I'd definitely still come back for a beer. And if you want to eat, I think you need to get it elsewhere as the only thing on the menu I saw was Miss Vickie's chips.
