I used to love to go to all the different Record City locations in the valley but I think they are down to 2 now. Anyway, I remember living up the street from the one on Charleston back before the guy with the spiked hair started there. When I got married back in 93' I was at that store and looking for some CDs. The clerk was there and I ended up talking about getting married. He offered me some roses he bought for his lady but said it didn't work out so he gave them to me. Super nice! Fast forward about 22 years and I go back to visit the store and the same clerk is there!! He remembers me and tells me I owe him for the flowers. WHAT? I was surprised he even remembered me. I was even more surprised he still worked there. haha Anyway, I was going to buy a rare Iron Maiden CD but he wouldn't do business with me so I sent my son instead to get it. The stores have always been a fun place for me to buy my rare DVDs and CDs as I have for the past 20ish years but I avoid the Charleston store because the store clerk is still there...probably never goes home...and will retire there. It looks like I will visit again in another 20ish years.
