This review is not about the food at Tim hortons because it doesn't really need to be reviewed. The review is about the service level at this location.
Ever seen the movie zootopia? Remember that scene with the sloths? Well that is how fast the employees work at this location - the Tim hortons at terminal 1, near gate f64 or f66.
If you are lucky enough to be at the back of the line with a few people in front of you, prepare for 30+ min wait, as the the 5-6 employees behind the counter move at speeds you've never seen before at a Tim hortons. Read - very very slowwww.
I thought maybe that one day was a bad day where everyone's give-a-bleep meter is low, but I've been back at the same Tim hortons 3-4 times in a span of 2 months and it's consistently slow.
With 2 lines forming, and 2 registers, Tim hortons staff doesn't do a good job moving the line and you can see it reflected in each customer's face and body language. There's an Express line (3rd line with a 3rd register) for just coffees/drink/baked goods and nothing else fancy, but they do such a poor job communicating such a line exist or how to use it. It's usually empty; no one knows to use it or uses it incorrectly forcing them to re-line up in the longer line.
But hey, if you've got lots of time to kill waiting for your flight, this is the place to be.
