Today was the second time I have used this company. The first move was last March. The truck driver called when he was on his way and got there ten minutes early, which I love. I absolutely hate waiting on a service, especially one that is as busy as moving.
Once the two movers started they worked fast. I had all my boxes marked and furniture ready to go. They loaded it with no issues, strapped it all in safely(I had a lot of glass and wood) and drove it to my new place.
The unloading went as smooth as the loading. There was no damage to any of my property. The guys also arranged all furniture where I wanted and set boxes in appropriate space. They were efficient and did a very good job. I only had one large load and the move was about ten miles. Let me say, I WILL NEVER MOVE on my own again. The price is well worth the service. If you prep before and have boxes taped and ready to go, like I think you should, it will save you some money.
I didn't have any damage but I see in another review they did. I didn't get insurance, but that's a risk I took. Like I said, no damage.
Second move was this morning, I was helping a friend. We were having a hard time getting stuff up her apartments staircase. So, on a whim I called Jeff at Family Moving and Storage. I explained we had about fifteen big items we needed moved. He had two guys and a truck out in 90 minutes.
Also, his prices are fair. It would have taken us at least three days to move, which means missing work for my friend. Instead they had everything done under two hours. I recommend this company to any one.
Both experiences with this company have ben A++. I would give them 6 stars if I could.
