OK. The stars aren't for the hotel but rather for the quality staff. The lobby is good looking but the rest of the hotel is very antiquated. My associate got stuck in an elevator which wasn't pleasant and I almost lost an arm trying to put my arm in the elevator door to stop it from closing. Rooms are tiny small. For the price I expected more. Went out to the room balcony and there's a ledge over the railing that is absolutely filthy with litter and garbage: beer and wine bottles, fast food containers etc. It really made the place feel trashy.
We went to the lobby bar and the staff was polite and it was a good experience except for the REALLY REALLY drunk what looked to be group of teenagers. Management needs a refresher course on dram shop liquor liability. Great mixed nuts tray that had wasabi peanuts. Cold beer. Bartender abruptly closed down though which was a bit annoying.
We then went to their nightclub for a dirty martini. It was made well and tasted great. The bartender gal was awesome. Great service always makes such a difference doen't it. They called last call and we wanted a bottle of wine to bring to the room which she said she couldn't do, but then asked us to hold on and proceeded to get a manager who said he would walk the bottle up to our room - nice extra effort!
