Like many before me, I came to Y2 after a recurring running injury put me out of commission (yet again) and I stubbornly had to admit that I needed to do something differently. I've always "liked" yoga, but preferred to spend my time doing something more-intense (calorie-burning-wise) with my time. For me, Y2 became the best of both worlds-- a great mind AND body workout. I enjoy the format of the classes... just structured enough that you know you will be challenged, but always a little different. ALL of time teachers are fantastic, and VERY different. Every time I think I've found a favorite, I practice with another teacher, and they are just as good! It's wonderful to know you can go any time and have a consistently great experience. So now I'm (slowly) getting back to running, but signed up for more Y2 classes to incorporate as I do. I honestly didn't expect to WANT to keep up yoga once I started back again (although I knew I "should"), but with Y2, I actually do!
