Dirt Dog was just one of the very few highlights on the Vegas Strip. It's tucked away in a small shopping area close to Alex and Ani, across from a huge Vegas souvenir store. It's on the east side of the strip, south of the Linq. When we arrived, there was only one guy working. It took awhile for the 6 of us to get our dogs because they are pretty complex hot dogs. It was worth the wait. I ordered the red dog. It was the perfect level of spicy. The bacon wrapped dog was excellent. (They are all wrapped in bacon.) the bun was different, toasted, and freaking amazing. I also tried the elote, Mexican street corn. It was delicious, but super messy. I didn't see the photo of the corn in a cup until after I got corn all over my face. I would recommend asking for that if you want to stay cute.
