Another brewery in Charlotte you say?! Least surprising thing I have heard in a while, but that doesn't mean this place isn't really cool! My wife and I were on the way to another brewery for some yoga, but we had heard about Divine Barrel so we swung through for a pre-yoga beer. It was fairly empty when we arrived so we grabbed a seat at the bar and Andrew immediately came over to introduce himself and tell us about some of their beers. After much deliberation, I got the "Finger Guns" and my wife got a "Wow, Much Juicy". I would not say that I can discern between different hops, but I know that I am a fan of beers with Citra and Centennial hops, and Finger Guns had both! Very good flavor, but doesn't overpower you even with an ABV of 8.1%. The Wow, Much Juicy was great as well. Just like it says, it smells like straight OJ and tastes much like it too. They have a great atmosphere here as well. We ended up coming back last night and the place was hoppin! Plenty of seating, well staffed, and also have some cool bar games as well (we love Klask!) A great addition to the Charlotte brewery scene.
