Ordered 2 avocado shakes, pearl milk tea, a mango shake and a papaya shake.
Let me start off by saying this is not my first Real Fruit. Heck, this is not my 100th real fruit!! I've been to this and multiple other locations more than a handful of times a month so I am no stranger to bubble tea and shakes.
Real fruit shakes (not just the franchise but the actual fruit) is always something I would recommend over the powdered variety due to all the obvious reasons of flavour authenticity, health benefits, just coz I say so, etc. So imagine my surprise when I took a sip of my avocado shake and it tasted like it had 3 times more sugar than normal. I tried the second avocado shake to see if it tastes like sugar on steroids and nope - that one tasted normal.
I brought it back to the woman less than 2 minutes from when I bought it to ask her to simply add more ice just so it would be more bareable to drink and she refused. I explained how it was overly sweet like she tripled the amount of syrup in it and she insisted it was normal and I explained that the second one tasted fine. I went on to ask her to just simply add ice to it to water down the sweetness and she refused again saying if I don't want sugar next time say so.
With this kind of service - we are never coming back to this location!
