I requested a handyman come out and do a couple of basic things, including helping me set up my sprinkler timer in a new house.
He was very personable, helpful, and full of useful tips on how I could take care of some of the things myself, in the future (specifically on the sprinkler/drip system). As he was installing curtain rods, he checked in every little bit if there was any question about how I might want something done, which made me feel very confident that I didn't have to keep an eye on things.
After he'd closed out the timer for the bill, he also spent a little of his own time making recommendations for how I might go about making other improvements I'd mentioned considering. Because there is a initial flat rate cost and then a cheaper hourly rate after that, I will be sure to try to consolidate the list of items and get more done at once, rather than having them done piecemeal.
I definitely appreciated the help and would be very likely to use this company in the future.
