This is the best badminton gym for your money. Before commander opened up, it's basically the only badminton gym near/off of the 401. The convenient location and best priced courts earn AOBC 5 stars. I usually go for drop-in and buy the punch card in bulk. This is a great option as it brings your average cost per play down under $5 a pop. The drop-in times don't really make sense to me...I basically go after dinner at 8:30 ish and play until close. It is often really busy before 9:30 and generally on good days, the owner David, will open til 11:15 or until he sees that people are ready to leave. Generally you will need to bring a partner so that you have someone to play with; however if you don't know anyone, you can meet people that are around your level there. I think they really need to implement some sort of racquet hanging system for their drop-in courts, as right now it's mostly a jump-on when the chicken squawks or a game is done. Free and plentiful parking at the back around the trucks. Will be difficult to find on your first try, it's basically at the back and if you look up, you will see the AOBC sign. And as a last bonus, there's free wifi!
