Cedar Center Hardware saved me twice in the past month. (Full disclosure: I worked here some 15 years ago.) Approach Lenny or Ken with a problem and you'll feel like they've taken your problem on as their own. I think of them as personal hardware coaches. And, they have they have the knowledge and experience to guide you to a solution.
Incident 1: I ran some 20 feet of copper pipe in my basement. My incompetence resulted in a basement sprinkler system with all the leaks. Ken gave me a soldering lesson and my second attempt was leak-free.
Incident 2: Loose toilet was caused by a bizarre flange issue. Lenny is the only guy in town that knows the idiosyncrasies of old homes around here. Sure enough, he had a fix.
