This is my 4th year as a season pass holder. Each year the park seems to go downhill a little. I was there yesterday and the bathroom by the wave pool was deplorable. I hate when people leave a bathroom disgusting but Sandcastle needs to do a better job of keeping them clean. Yesterday there were very few people at the park so keeping the bathrooms clean should have been easier. The other issue I had yesterday is there was a young lady in her late teens/early 20's who was wear a black bikini. The bottoms were a modified thing. (Modified meaning it was a smidge wider than a whale's tail thong.). It was NOT appropriate at all. My family was sitting in the wave pool area and saw the young lady multiple times. Two of those times there was a female leader/manager who was standing there. She watched the girl and made comments to the workers but never said anything to the girl.
The Lifeguards are nice and do a good job. The employees at the food stations are also nice and service is quick. Our family is a big fan of Chic Fil A so we love it when they are there. The park just needs to tweak a few things to get 4 or 5 stars. Keeping restrooms clean and updating some of the chairs and loungers would be steps in the right direction.
