I had a very odd experience and will try to be succinct. I was approved for $990 with snap finance and went to this location as it was closest to my home. The first fellow helping ( nice and helpful) couldn't locate my SF approval thru the merchant portal. So I got SF on the phone handed the phone to him. He tells me SF found the account gave him the application ID and they simply had to call merchant services and they could help me....Great So I assume the "manager" comes in short bald stout guy cannot remember his name and first asks is the altima outside mine..I tell him yes , he tells me you gave me the wrong size on the phone ( I called ahead)....I reminded him that he looked up the size as I told him I wasnt sure.......anyway 1000 better ways to ask that He then asks me if I have a check.....he tells me in order to call SF merchant services he needs a check from the account I listed on the SF application to call them....... I don't ( I rarely use checks)...I ask can you call merchant services....nope I am told he cannot help me.......so I have been dismissed and I leave.... I call back Snap as I drive home and get the same CSR as my original call.....I ask him why would I need a check...he (Roy) tells me you don't I gave the vendor the application ID and he simply needs to call merchant service. ======================================================================= I was the only customer in the store I gave my name address birthday and social security. I am retired and worked retail sales for many years and I can say unequivocally that if I had a prospect come in saying I have a pre approved line of credit and I want to buy they weren't leaving empty handed. I have to believe this isnt Big O sales training and have always had good experiences with Big O in the past so I am treating this as an outlier....but boy was it od
