A different spin on what I'm used to in Mexican food. It's located in a strip mall but don't let that be a deciding factor because it's git a nice patio and really good service.
I rolled in with some people I just met at my hotel. I was hungry and didn't know where to go. I heard the front desk clerk talking up the Blind Pig to some people and they invited me to join.
The menu had some interesting items. Not a lot of things I recognized from a traditional Mexican restaurant experiences. But I love me some short rib so I ordered the tacos. They were amazing. Some of the men at my table ordered the short rib entrée which I wish I would have ordered because there was more short rib. They raved about it.
They also make a fabulous margarita. No mixer or soda in this margarita. The real thing!!!
Next time I'm in Scottsdale I'm definitely coming back to the Blind Pig.
