Came in for an alignment. They asked me: "Do you do a lot of work on your car yourself?" No, I replied. "Because your steering column is installed upside down." They wanted to spend two hours and charge me a couple hundred dollars to reinstall my steering column. And this was preventing them from doing an alignment for whatever reason. This was a lie. I had my steering column installed by a reputable shop, and I called that place and they laughed at that diagnosis. My car would be shaking violently on the highway if it was installed upside down. Just to be certain, I had it checked by a third party, and my steering column is fine. It's this Brake Masters that isn't fine. They lie to their customers. Don't ever take your car here, even for the most basic of work. I've taken my crappy car to a lot of bizarre places to have it fixed, and never before have I been so blatantly lied to.
