My parents stayed here 3 weeks before I did and recommended it despite the construction. I haven't had much of a problem with the construction but am disappointed about the pool being closed. Guest services allows you access to two other Mgm owned pools, mandalas bay's. and the MGM grand's. This may seem like a nice deal, but Keep in mind that mandalays's is quite a walk in the heat along with mgm's. You have to cross the boulevard and walk a good distance just to reach mgm's.
My friend and I went to aria's pool because we assumed it was on the list since it's a sister hotel and the closest pool to the Monte Carlo. They said that only floor 32 guests are allowed in.
Besides that, stay on a higher floor and pay the extra 5 dollars a night if you prefer not to hear any construction sound and want a view of the strip, otherwise, the rest of the hotels services have been adequate.
