I had a great time at Canal but I just couldn't shake the feeling that I didn't belong there. It reminded me of why I dislike Scottsdale so much, it just tries too damn hard. I did enjoy the drinks and the company, the Unofficial Yelp Event was fantastic and Steph from L.A. made me miss being single, but I digress, Scottsdale is lame. Too plastic, too fake. Give me a dive bar any day over this. The scotch was yummy though! Addendum: I would like to make it very clear that I love my wife very much and would never, ever wish to be single for Steph ;)
