I cannot say enough wonderful things about Belmont Village! I would HIGHLY recommend ignoring the the 1 star review that was left below because it simply is not an accurate reflection.
If you're reading this, you likely know how stressful and emotional putting/having a loved one in assisted living is for the family. With that in mind, I will be eternally grateful to the Belmont staff for the compassion they showed my mother and grandmother.
Over Christmas my grandmother lost her sight, and thus needed more hands on care than her current assisted living facility could offer. The staff at the Belmont went above and beyond to work with my mother on getting her moved during the holiday season. The Director personally visited my grandmother at her old facility to make sure she felt reassured about making the move and even brought her a "Belmont Bear".
Belmont was founded by woman who's mother in law needed an assisted living facility - so they understand the process and what matters most. They cater to all the "little things" that mean so much to your loved one. For my grandmother, those "little things" are food (specifically soup) and activities. The food at this facility is amazing! Two soups are made from scratch each day, steaks, salmon, shrimp, salads, omelets, and amazing fruit that is locally sourced. They have a wonderful chef on staff with a very impressive resume, and an amazing wait staff who take the time to tell my grandmother where everything is located on the table and where the different foods are located on her plate. The list of activities are fantastic! They are thoughtfully put together and impressive. My gram will even be able to start participating in water aerobics again with the help of her "pal" (which is what they call the caregivers)!
I went to see my grandmother today and she was glowing. I greatly attribute this to the supportive environment she now resides in. Thank you Belmont!
