Is this the same company?? The reviews of Shaw were so good, and my two conversations with him, personally, were so convincing, that I actually wrote this company into the closing requirements for my house purchase in Champaign. THIS WAS A BIG MISTAKE. I was completely shocked by the lack of interest he showed in completing the [exterior] work on our house once he knew he was definitely going to be paid out of an escrow account. In short, his subcontractors did a hideous job -- dropped paint everywhere; smeared it on windows and screens and trim; were working well after dark, when they couldn't see anything, just to leave the job; said they were finished when large areas were not even painted; took photos to prove that the job was finished, but the photos were so misrepresentative of the actual work that the bank actually asked Shaw to return to complete the job properly after I sent escrow "real" photos of the work. I will never deal with Shaw again.
