I love finding new breakfast places and so I was really excited to try Rise & Shine. I was surprised to find how cute and well decorated the inside is!!
However, I noticed immediately that the service was lacking. Everyone here seldom smiled and seemed like they didn't want to be there... Breakfast places are usually notorious for their overly friendly service but not this one. Our server, Christina, was very insincere and seemed impatient when we were indecisive about what we wanted to order. After our food came out, she didn't come back to check on us once!!
The food is edible. I ordered the corn beef hash which I didn't really consider to be real corned beef hash because it was just beef cut into small pieces. It was hard for me to want to finish.. Also, the bread in a pot that we ordered tasted kind of stale and not fresh like I expected.
I really wanted to like this place but this restaurant as a whole needs improvement
