I rushed to Michaels today because something I wanted was on sale and I read at the last minute that it was only on sale for today. I pulled up to the Michaels at 8:57 and there was an employee guarding the door and letting customers out. I walked up at 8:58 and the employee started shaking her head at me and then said they were closed. I told her I only needed one thing from the marquee isle 2-3 isles from the checkout stands. She used her walkie talkie to ask her manager if she could let me in and she said no. It was 8:59, and I know it was almost closing time, but I never do that and I really only needed one thing that was close to the registers. It wouldn't have delayed them had I been able to just run in and grabbed it, heck, if no one was at the door I would have come in and gone out by 9! Terrible customer service! I work for a local bank, and we always let last minute customers in. Just wait until I get a survey on my receipt! That is if I decide to come back and shop here again.
