I found this place on Yelp and I'm so glad I did! After being very pleased with simple alterations. I brought a large alteration job here last year. I'd purchased a dress online from ASOS and needed it taken in significantly. He informed me up front that it was a fairly big job and that it wouldn't be cheap: they needed to essentially re-make the dress, including taking out and replacing the zipper at the back. I loved the dress and didn't want to go through the hassle of an international exchange process so I ponied up the $65.
It turned out fabulously. The alteration was incredibly well done, well worth the money IMO, and was completes within a week. Magic Tailor is my go-to now (and I have to get all my pants altered, so I'm here pretty frequently).
