If I had to choose between only eating savories or sweets for the remainder of my life, I would not hesitate and immediately choose sweets. When it comes to dessert, I love trying new places; therefore, when Yelp alerted me of a new dessert place, I knew I had to try it. SWEET BOX is located where Very Berry Cafe used to be on Flamingo and Decatur. There's easy parking and it's nearby Spring Mountain where a majority of Asian cuisines are located.
The aesthetics of this cafe is on point. It has a very "clean" and simple feel to it. On a Sunday afternoon, a majority of the seats were occupied with people studying or with friends/dates. The service was excellent. The woman in the front was very kind and helpful.
There are so, so many options. There are drinks, gelato, waffles, ect. We opted to order the strawberry waffle with a scoop of mango gelato. I usually avoid whip cream like the plague; however, their whip cream was the best that I've ever had (they make it fresh on the daily). The waffle was light and fluffy and the gelato was a very refreshing touch that complimented the fresh strawberries well.
I'll definitely post an update next time I'm here and try more things but I already know this is the new spot for sweets in Vegas!
