We've had a lot of smoke in the Bay Area due to the Wine Country fires. Stores have been sold out of the N95 masks. The air up here is beautifully clear and we decided to stop by Home Depot to pick up some masks to bring home. We could see the store from the freeway and found it w/ minimal difficulty. This is definitely not an urban Home Depot. There's a large area in the front marked TRACTOR PICK-UP. You just don't see that at our Home Depot. There is a lot of disabled parking and a few spaces are specifically marked for US Veterans. We walked in, looked for the masks, then asked a man behind the counter where they might be. He pointed to the aisle in front of him and said on the left side of that aisle. We walked a short way down, past the painting supplies and there was a large assortment of masks. We bought a package of three smalls and three packages of medium/larges, some to share w/ Nina and Larry. Those we don't need we can return at home. We went through the self checkout lane, which I normally don't do and I wondered how they guard against dishonest people who take 5 items and scan only three. I didn't ask, but I expect they have a way.
