Apparently Amazon hires their delivery drivers based on the lowest bidder. For the last few months they have stopped delivering directly to me, instead just dropping packages at the apartment office. It's gotten to the point that the apartment manager has asked them to stop because they have so many packages and no room to keep them, but the drivers aren't listening. I try to order so that my deliveries will come on the weekend when I'm home; however, the drivers have started coming early on the weekend before the office opens, then I get a message that "delivery delayed because the business was not open." When I contact Amazon the representative says "What do you expect me to do?". With that comment it became pretty clear that Amazon has 1 priority, profit. Cancelled the 3 outstanding orders and ordered the same items through Wal-Mart, at a cheaper price with the option to pick up. If I keep my PRIME membership for the remainder of the time it's paid for I doubt I'll be renewing it.
