Edwin was initially called out by My home warranty company 6 months ago for a heating and air conditioning issue. Edwin diagnosed the issue, gave the info to the home warranty company, the home warranty deemed it a pre-existing issue and wasn't covered under contract. Edwin was still $450.00 cheaper than all other contractors and completed the repairs. Yesterday the same AC unit had an issue, another contractor was called out by my home warranty company and once again the home warranty company deemed it a pre-existing issue, the contractor wanted $1,200.00 for the repairs. I called Edwin back out and he had the unit back up and running at no charge. One of the small lines developed a pin hole in it and leaked freon gas out. Edwin braze welded the hole and checked for leaks, Edwin stated that he didn't think that it was anything that he had done during the repair process to cause the current issue. I tried to give Edwin $100.00 for the service call, but he would not take it. Edwin is of a rare breed these days,'An Honest Contractor', who prides himself on customer satisfaction and personal honesty. We will always continue to go back to Edwin Gfellers Air Conditioning for our AC/Heating needs based on our past experiences.
