I love the store itself, reminds me of home.
Growing up in Surrey, BC Overwaitea and then save on were my neighborhood grocery stores. I really want to give this review a 2 or maybe even a 1. I love the company but this store needs a Vancouver overhaul or something.
Worst customer service every single time I go. The cashiers are extremely rude and they all act like they have never spoken to a human before. I think I have had one cashier who was decent and didn't make me walk away thinking I slipped into a weird, socially awkward dimension.
The other staff are nice enough but don't really care about their jobs and dont really put any any effort to helping customers. Positively not the service I was used to back at any of the stores in BC.
The prices are good when things are on sale. I still visit the store when I'm in the area but man oh man I avoid contact with any staff unless it's an emergency. Thank goodness for the self checkouts.
