Most people come to Vegas for partying or gambling... I came for this place and no other reason. I am a HUGE amusement park fan and this was on my bucket list. I bought a Groupon that was any 2 rides as well as a beverage package for Air Bar - which is the bar at the Stratosphere. I have never been to this place before so I don't know if this was normal but it was EMPTY. We got on the rides within few minutes and got service at the bar within seconds which was awesome. The unfortunate thing with the beverage package is I did not realize it was buy 1 get 1 free for drinks. I thought everything was included in the ticket but that's my fault and not theirs. The drinks were not very good - very very very strong which I guess some people need before going on the rides but it was way too strong for me and I took about 5 sips and threw it away. Insanity was closed when we went due to high winds - which I understand. Therefore, we went on X-scream and Big Shot. X-Scream was a simple ride but it was just fun. I really did not have much excitement for Big Shot. It's the same freefall ride you can get at ANY theme park or fair, just more high up. I will honestly say I absolutely loved this ride. I wouldn't call it scary but again, it was a lot of fun and honestly the views were amazing. We went in the daytime and just seeing all the mountains and everything was beautiful. The service was great - every person was VERY friendly and helpful. We also got a photo for about $16 which isn't bad considering most theme parks are about the same amount of money. I would like to come back here to go on at night because I'm sure that would be another beautiful experience. This is a great bucket list experience!
