I moved to Loreto Apartments at the end of January, 2011. I moved from Los Angeles for a job offer on very short notice and did not know much about the complex, other than what I read/saw on their website.
Since moving in this place has gotten more and more GHETTO! Apparently they have been lowering their rates in hopes of filling all of the units, and it shows.
Here is a list of what to expect if you decide to move here:
*Cockroaches and crickets EVERYWHERE (if you live here you WILL have cockroaches in your apartment, no matter how clean you keep it)--GUARANTEED
*Incompetent people, including the Manager, working in the Leasing Office
*Horrible maintenance
*Dog urine and feces EVERYWHERE
*Cigarette butts and trash EVERYWHERE
*Extremely rude neighbors
*Fights. Yes, I said fights. Domestic disputes, etc. Las Vegas Metro PD is here AT LEAST ONCE PER WEEK
*People walking their dog off leash
*Neighbors asking for and using illegal drugs. You read that correctly...I have actually had a neighbor in my building ask me if I could get him illegal drugs
I could give more examples of why I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to move to this apartment complex.
