"Show me your positive review of Gold's Gym on Yelp and we will enter you into a drawing to win three free months" is a sign at their front desk. This is not a very ethical business--incentivizing people for good reviews. Pretty insane.
Management does not listen to members
They have run out of towels on three occasions -- seriously what kind of gym runs out of towels?
One time, a guy was working out completely shirtless. Staff was notified, and nothing was done. How can management let that happen?
They have way too much cardio equipment that no one uses. Their staff is not properly trained. The list goes on and on.
