I have to imagine this location recently got new management, who basically do not care about customer service or food quality, because it used to be good. Yes I know we are talking about McDonald's here, but this location was halfway decent compared to others in the area.
My last visit in, I ordered a filet o fish meal where the fish basically was over cooked and inedible, then you have the ice cold fries to top it off. I don't care if this is McDonald's, it should still be worth the money.
