Zero Below is the first rolled ice cream I know of to come to Cleveland, and I was pretty excited because I think rolled ice cream is a really cute concept! Basically, you choose your flavor of ice cream and toppings and get to watch as it's being made (rolled) on this frozen metal plate in front of you. I ended ordering the green tea ice cream with strawberries, fruity pebbles, and strawberry pocky. Zero Below had recently opened when I came here and I had to wait quite a while for my order, not to mention my rolled ice cream was kind of falling apart when I got it, but I imagine things are a little smoother now that they've been open for a while. When I got my order, I thought the presentation of the dessert was nice, but the ice cream and toppings were truthfully just average in taste. Overall, I think Zero Below is worth visiting at least once (if anything, to get those cute photos haha), but I don't think I'll be coming regularly, unless it's to take someone who's visiting or hasn't been before. If I'm craving a satisfying bowl of ice cream, I will probably just go to Mitchell's in the future. Nevertheless, Zero Below is worth a try, and I think it would be great if they expanded their menu in the future to include other flavors or toppings such as mochi! :)
