The only reason I'm giving this dive two stars is for their amazing wings. Other than that - avoid at all costs. The staff is crusty, and that is an understatement. Melissa and the gentleman that tends bar with her on Saturdays are about the only decent people here. I once got into a random conversation with an openly gay man at the bar, and the trollish little waitress just kept rolling her eyes and snickering with the owner of the bar at a back table. The following week I went back by myself - and was again met with snickers and eye rolling from the aforementioned troll. They don't want your business if you aren't a regular, and if you are even somewhat animated or have a sparkle of life in you - it's frowned upon at this place. They also arbitrarily decide who to cut off - and it's never a regular. So, to sum it all up - if you are a somewhat outside-of-the-box person, and you want to experience the diner scene in "Easy Rider" - head on over to TKO's. Or - better yet - order the wings for take out (jerk is the best flavor) - and get the hell out of Dodge.
