I stayed here a couple months ago and since then, the name changed, I don't know if it has the same owners. I just moved here from Chicago and stayed here for the night because I wasn't officially moving in until the next day. After a long 3 day drive and arriving late evening, I was exhausted. My experience was not like the other reviews. The owner was very nice and upgraded my room at no charge without me even knowing just because I was clearly exhausted, sore, etc. The room was beautiful and clean. The windows were a little dirty but other than that I couldn't complain. I had a beautiful view of the fountain, Jacuzzi tub and HUGE bed. They allow pets so my trusty road trip sidekick, Leroy, was able to be right by my side. It's right across the street from the fountain so we had a nice walk around the area to stretch our legs. The restaurant was empty. The bartender was very nice and the food was ok. I have been told by people here that when they have power outages, the owner offers extremely discounted rooms to residents to get out of the heat which I find commendable. I hope that the people who had so many issues, let the owner know. I really don't think he would just ignore complaints. He cant fix whay he doesn't know. I will be having family stay there when they come to visit and would recommend this hotel to others. I stayed there in November so maybe things have changed since past reviews.
