Let me put it this way...
... the so-called "new rebuild" engine I replaced in my previous car turned out to just be a leaky, old engine from another one.
... while installing it, they ruined the transmission in the car and expected me to pay for the replacement.
... the mechanic drove my car for his personal use, ostensibly "to test it" without my prior consent, and when it stalled (because of his faulty work), he left it on the highway. Police tracked the license plate and called me. Mechanic called me later, asking me to take time from work to help him get it out of impound. At least he paid for that.
You'd do better with a do-it-yourself manual. It'd be cheaper on you too.
