I fell in love with this market! It is located in the heart of Bloomfield on Liberty Avenue and I would highly suggest popping in. There was a woman there, who I am assuming is the owner Gina that I read about in other reviews. Very sweet, friendly and helpful!
This place has an amazing selection and I'm jealous this isn't in my neighborhood! A great selection of fruit and veggies, as well as dry spices, canned goods and flowers. I noticed a lot of local Pittsburgh items as well--local coffee beans and hummus, among other things.
One thing I loved was the feeling of community in this place. She clearly provides goods to DJ's sandwich shop just next door. After we finished lunch at DJ's, we saw the cook come into the shop looking for rosemary and she had one of her workers run some down to him a few minutes later. It's wonderful to see local businesses working together! I'm definitely going to be a regular here.
