My new neighbourhood barbershop. This is a great space, incredibly well-lit from the large windows (hence the name, I guess!), and plenty to keep you occupied if you're just in for a drop-in appointment on a lazy day or whatever. Pool table, coffee, actually worthwhile magazines... I've been here three times since they opened - it's right in my hood, and they take online booking(!), the absence of which is a bit of a pain-point for me with other neighbourhood barber shops. I get out with a good cut every 6 weeks, and I pay less than I do at the more-downtown establishments. Dylan & Peter are good guys for chatting as well. I'm pretty content to have found a new regular spot to get my haircut, with a pretty chill vibe, and barbers who really care about what they're doing. And comforting reassurance that the little nick in my hairline isn't me going bald, the way I constantly fear it is. I just went to schedule when I'll need another appointment into my calendar, and I accidentally typed "Book hairbut". That's pretty funny, huh? Hair-but.
